Who is the instructor?
Tonia Kraakman is a certified group fitness, stretching, and flexibility instructor with experience teaching stretch and movement classes at Soul Studio, as well as at Flow Space Wellness Studio. She specialises in mindful movement, flexibility, posture, and functional mobility training, creating classes that combine strength, balance, and body awareness in a calm and supportive environment.
Originally from Russia, Tonia moved to New Zealand many years ago and found her home in Alexandra. Alongside her passion for movement and wellbeing, she works in the travel industry and enjoys photography, which is reflected throughout this website. Creating and teaching her own fitness programmes has been a long-held goal, and she is excited to share her love of movement, strength, flexibility, and body awareness with other people in the community.

Do I need to be fit to join?
No. The programme is suitable for all fitness levels, including complete beginners. Options for both higher and lower intensity will be given.

What if I'm not flexible?
You don't need to be flexible to start. Improving flexibility and mobility is part of the programme.

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. No shoes are needed.

Do I need to bring anything?
Please bring a water bottle if you need it. Yoga mats, blocks, and any other equipment will be provided.

What age group is this programme for?
The programme is designed for adult women of all ages.

What happens during a class?
Classes include mobility exercises, strength work, balance training, flexibility exercises, mindful breathing, and flowing movement sequences. Each class finishes with a few minutes of relaxation or meditation.

Is this a stretching class?
Stretching is an important part of the programme, but classes also include strength, balance, posture, coordination, and movement training.

Will the classes be difficult?
The intensity is low to medium. Exercises can be adapted to suit different abilities.

Can I join if I have never exercised before?
Yes. Beginners are welcome.

Can I join if I already exercise regularly?
Yes. The programme complements other forms of exercise and offers a different approach to movement, posture, and body awareness.

What if I have an injury or health condition?
Please consult your healthcare professional before joining and let the instructor know about any injuries or limitations.

What if I miss a class?
Missed classes are non-refundable, but movements are often repeated in different classes and will be explained. It is okay to occasionally miss a class, but the best results come from consistency.

How many people are in each group?
Classes are limited to 10 participants.

How long is each class?
45 to 60 minutes.

Can I attend casually?
No. The programme is designed as a progressive 12-week course, with each class building on previous sessions.

What is your refund policy?
The programme is non-refundable. Once enrolled, no refunds are available for missed classes, change of mind, or partial attendance.
